A side of Iwo Jima you may not know.

This movie has some war footage, but isn't quite so much about battles in faraway places.  It's about the
exploitation of a few of the men that were raising the American flag in that famous photo from Iwo Jima.  These men were apparently, quickly raised to a level of hero by the American public, and the government realized they could put these guys on tour and use them to raise money for the war effort.  It's really a sad and dark tale.  It's filmed well and Clint Eastwood directed the acting very well.  It's just kind of a difficult realization of what many of us probably know as a heroic moment from a horrible battle in WWII.  For that reason it's probably not for everyone.
