I had no idea this is a remake. Doesn't matter though. This will be short and sweet. If you enjoy westerns, watch this! I'm not a huge Russel Crowe fan and know his name but am not real familiar with Christian Bale, the co-male lead. Gretchen Mol, the female lead in this movie was the lead in The 13th Floor, one of my all time fav sci-fi flicks. So it was nice to see her in another film. And we also have a small role by the famed Peter Fonda. All this aside, this is a really, very good, movie. I watched it twice, and will certainly add it to my collection one day.
