There are some faith based overtones in this movie. If that doesn't bother you, rent this one!
This is a great movie. It's been a couple of months since I've seen it and I already know I'll watch it again in the not-too-distant future. Hilary Swank stars in this one. She plays a former minister/missionary who after a life-changing moment has decided to spend her life debunking the Christian faith she once embraced. This culminates in her being called in to a small town to investigate some very odd occurrences and runs headlong into what appears to be all of the final plagues spelled out in Revelations which lead to the last day. Watch it.
