Admittedly, I shouldn't write this now since I'm still quite perturbed having just spent 1 hour and 15 minutes driving 6 miles to work… if you could call sitting in an idling car moving as fast as it will go without touching the accelerator, driving….

We had our first accumulating snowfall of the season over night and this morning.  It's really beautiful!  I do love the snow.  Nice flakes, sticking to the trees.  God is painting us in beauty.

It's been since February 2007 since we've seen accumulating snow here. 10 months. Wow.  That's a long time. So long long that as is the case every year, people here somehow forget how to drive in snow.  Over 10 months.  You know, that simple fact really concerns me.  How much do they forget about driving while they sleep each night and aren't behind the wheel? We can remember phone numbers, email addresses, countless logi/passowrd combinations, grocery lists, when the next hair appointment is… but not HOW TO DRIVE IN SNOW?  Cars off the road, accidents everywhere…

IDIOTS!!!!

This is the best argument for public transportation we have.  New law suggestion.  Anyone listening?  You run off the road or cause an accident on the first snow of the season, you lose your license.  Get these morons off the roads so the rest of us can go about our business.

I think I'm starting to feel better now.

Glad you feel better 🙂 Have you considered that maybe all these people skidding, sliding and in ditches just might be some elderly people who are out early to do some Christmas shopping. And as we all know elderly people (I speak from experience) have slower reflexes :grin
