Here’s another catch-up film for me.  Unlike most of the others I can’t remember ever hearing about this one and saw the trailer on a DVD for another movie.

Another catch-up for me, and I’ll make this quick.  This 2005 film revolves around famed writer Truman Capote and his research and writing of his book Cold Blood.  Capote becomes totally fascinated by the brutal slaying of a family of four in Kansas and befriends one of the suspects and based on this portrayal, possibly falls in love with him.  I’ve been a fan of Philip Seymour Hoffman since first noticing him in Twister.  He never fails to give a great performance and that is especially true of this movie.  It’s not for everyone, but this is a strange yet engrossing tale and probably a must see for any drama/murder mystery fan.

Rated PG-13 mostly for language and some mild violence, this is my kind of movie.  It’s a who-dunnit murder-political-conspiracy flick centered around an investigative journalist who will stop at nothing.

This is a 2007 film that I somehow missed after it came out.  It’s about a guy that can see into the future.

This is the latest offering featuring Harrison Ford, and also starring Ray Liotta and Ashley Judd.  It’s a somehat disturbing film and not merely because of the few violent and sex scenes.
